Our earthly experience together began for us when we met in Santa Barbara, California. We were both taking nature photographs and waiting for the one that we were to join on the Journey of Awakening.
Kyle: “I was inspired by the beautiful, harmonious symmetry of what I saw looking through kaleidoscopes. The snowflake patterns never seemed to end or start. It was all one. I began to mirror and reflect nature images on my computer. I observed infinite beings and geometric patterns unfolding. I saw sacred artwork creating itself from the plants, water and light.”
David: “I spent many years swimming with dolphins. I began to have spontaneous encounters with animals and birds and was able to photograph them at close range with a simple camera. When I became aware, when I listened, when I was truly present and open, I would be given experiences with the beautiful beings of nature.”

We were camping and heard the call of an owl just as it was getting dark. We quickly packed our camera, tripod and warm clothes and went out following the sound. The intermittent calls we heard seemed to be getting closer. We were now very close. We searched the nearby trees. It's amazing how many branches look like owls! Finally, as the full moon rose we found him, set up the tripod, and composed the shot. We took many but these two were the most amazing.
